Whitening powders typically use abrasives to scrub away surface stains which can lead to things like enamel etching and sensitivity. Instead of an abrasive whitening method, the PAP+ Powder oxidises stains through the use of PAP (Pthalimidoperoxycaproicacid), without causing any pain or sensitivity. Add effective whitening to your everyday toothpaste by simply dipping it in the PAP+ Powder.
As a bleaching agent, peroxide has an aggressive whitening mechanism called free radical oxidisation, that comes with some side effects.
These side effects can include sensitivity, irritated gums, and the loss of important minerals from your teeth. In-chair treatments administered by the dentist limit these reactions, but at-home treatments are more risky.
Our formula includes PAP (Pthalimidoperoxycaproicacid)as the primary whitening ingredient. PAP is a safer alternative to peroxide, that doesn’t release free radicals. This means there is zero impact on gums or enamel.

Add PAP+ powder to any toothpaste by dipping your toothbrush directly into the jar, and brushing thoroughly for 2 minutes.
There’s two ways to use our PAP+ Powder, with or without toothpaste. Both methods are effective, so choose whichever is your personal preference.
To apply without toothpaste
Wet your toothbrush and shake off any excess water. Dip your toothbrush into the powder jar, so that bristles are evenly coated. Brush thoroughly for 2 minutes. Expel and rinse mouth after use.
To apply with toothpaste
Wet your toothbrush and shake off any excess water, then apply toothpaste to the brush. Gently dip your toothbrush into the powder jar, so that the toothpaste is evenly coated. Brush thoroughly for 2 minutes. Expel and rinse mouth after use.
Phthalimidoperoxycaproic Acid (PAP)
A scientifically proven teeth whitening ingredient that is a safe alternative to peroxide. PAP has no negative side effects during the oxidation of tooth stains, which allows it to effectively whiten without pain or sensitivity.
Hydroxyapatite (HAp)
Hydroxyapatite is the main component of teeth. The PAP+ formula contains a nano-synthetic version of Hydroxyapatite, which helps to replace lost minerals in damaged parts of the enamel.
Potassium Citrate
A powerful desensitising agent that helps to relieve pre-existing sensitivity. It travels down into the tooth and through the soft layer of dentin to provide the nerves with lasting protection from pain and sensitivity.

Yes, the PAP+ Powder is safe for your enamel as it does not use an abrasive whitening method. Instead, it oxidises tooth stains with the active whitening ingredient PAP, which provides effective results with no sensitivity, gum irritation or enamel etching.
How long does it take to see results from PAP+ Powder?
The time taken to see results from any whitening product differs greatly for every person. There are a lot of contributing factors such as the age of your teeth, the types of stains you have, your daily dietary habits and more. PAP+ Powder will immediately start to work on breaking down the stains within your teeth and will help maintain the shade of your teeth by fighting off the stains that build up daily. Continuous use will speed up the whitening process and reveal results much faster, so ensure you use the PAP+ Powder when you brush twice daily.
Can Hismile be used with veneers, caps, implants, bridges, or bonded teeth?
Veneers, caps, implants, bonding or bridges aren’t designed to be whitened and require special care from your dentist. The PAP+ whitening formula works to oxidise stains from natural teeth, however, it may be helpful at keeping your surrounding teeth the same shade as the ones that have had dental work.
